Alright! Walgreens has started having great FREE after Register Rewards items again! I'm so glad to see the School Supply deals slowly go away! Be sure to study the back page of this week's circular to find Skin & Nail Supplements for FREE, Tampons for FREE, Lip Balm for FREE, and Breathe Right Strips for FREE - all after Register Rewards.

Other items that match up well to coupons are the Dove chocolates for $2.99. I used a $1.00 off coupon from last week to snag these at a great price! Also, put together the Bayer aspirin IN-STORE COUPON AND TWO OF the $1.00 OFF ONE coupons from the 8/1 Red Plum to get them for $.50 each. Listerine is on sale for $1.99 after a $1.00 Register Reward and add the $1.00 off coupon from the 8/1 Smartsource and you've got Listerine for $.99. WOW!

Now's the time to check out the garden area at Target. They have most of their lawn products at 50% OFF! These chemicals, if you use them, will last through next year if you ensure that they DO NOT FREEZE. It's worth finding a spot in your basement to store this type of thing because these prices are FANTASTIC! They have/had LOTS of PREEN, too! Love it!

ACE Hardware Rebate

I received one of my ACE Hardware rebates yesterday!  It took about 6 weeks to get it which is really quite normal.  Just a reminder to sign up for the ACE Rewards program.  It is well worth the time and I've been able to pick up quite a bit of FREE stuff by combining sales, rewards & rebates!

Cub Foods is running there TRY 4 SALADS for $4.44 PER POUND again.  This is actually a great way to try at least 4 of their salads.  I did yesterday and all 4 were great.  You get enough for 2 to easily share.  Yum!

Go to the 3m website to print out a coupon for $1.00 of a pack of these SUPER STICKY Post-it's!  You can print the coupon as many times as you like!  I picked these up for FREE at Walmart last night.  You can probably find them for FREE at Target too but I haven't been to Target lately so don't know for sure.  Aren't these GREAT colors?

Well, this was a total surprise.  I received a FREE CoverGirl Bronzer in the mail yesterday.  This was in response to the "What Inspires You?" promotion that Walgreens ran back in June.  CoverGirl had already sent me a FREE lipstick for participating and now this in the mail yesterday.  WOW!

Drain is Running Smoothly Again!

I've HAD to learn so many things about taking care of my house over the years and one of them is keeping the drains clear of debris (that ugly gunk).  When I first bought my house my plumber said to pour bleach down EVERY DRAIN, EVERY MONTH and I probably would never have to call him unless a pipe actually broke.  Well, that advice has proven to be true for the most part but I did have to clear my bathroom sink drain this past weekend.  It was proving to be a tough clog so I finally went to Mendard's and bought a cheap drain snake for about $4.00.  I had the drain cleared in-no-time BUT then my main drain in the basement began having a problem.  Obviously, my clog had moved but not far enough  After ten minutes with my little drain snake that problem cleared too.  Well worth the $4.00 investment.  I probably saved over $100 by having the I CAN DO IT, spirit!

I found this great tear pad coupon for $1.50 off ONE Soft Scrub Total at KMart over the weekend! It's good until 11/07/2010 and is a manufacturer coupon but only good at Kmart. Keep your eye on their prices for these products and you'll probably be able to pick up some really cheap kitchen or bath cleaner!

Menards 3 Day - CRAZY DAYS Sale

I hope you all found the Menard's Crazy Day circular in your Wednesday paper! Lots of great items on sale and tons of FREE items after mail in rebate. The sale runs Friday, Saturday & Sunday - August 13 - 15. I'm thinking that the Cuddlee Blanket (FREE after $7.00 rebate) might be a good item to pick up! Lots of useful items for FREE! Love it!

Nice Surprise in the Mail

I received these great coupons in the mail yesterday. I have gotten myself onto the Procter & Gamble mailing list. One coupon is for $1.00 off any Charmin Mega Roll and the other is for a FREE 40 count Charmin Freshmates Tub when you buy ANY SIZE Charmin Bath Tissue. My supply of tissue is FULL but if I see a good sale on Charmin I may just pick it up to get the FREE Freshmates!

I spied this great tear pad coupon at Cub Foods on Wednesday. Buy Two Get One FREE! It's for either the Uncrustables or NEW Snack'N Waffles. I've never tried these but the Waffles sound pretty good!

Fabulous!  I found fresh Costa Rican Pineapples at Kwik Trip today for $1.99.  That's a great price!  They are a little smaller than the Hawaiin but am anxious to try it.  Yum!

HyVee Good Deal!

Ok, I'll try and explain this really good deal at HyVee this week.

I purchased the Hefty Fresh Extend one zip bags for $1.59 and used the coupon for $1.00 off fresh produce to purchase a seedless watermelon for $3.99. So, $3.99 minus $1.00 coupon equals $2.99 and you got a FREE 2-Liter Minute Maid Lemonade! Yay! So, in the end I paid $4.58 for One Seedless Watermelon, One box of Hefty Fresh Extend One Zip bags, and One 2-liter bottle of Minute Maid Lemonade! What a great "stacking" deal that was!

FREE Beer Glass

I also received this great beer glass from Newcastle Brown Ale on Friday. Who can't use a great beer glass, especially in this heat? I sure loved my mailperson on Friday!

On Friday I stopped in to Target to grab a few deals. I got the Air Wick Compact Air Freshner, 6 box of Band-Aid Hello Kitty bandaids, and 2 single load packs of Tide (not pictured) for $.51! The gal at the check out just could not believe that my total was correct!

Yay! I received my FREE Warner Bros. movie coupon from MaMa Rosa's last Friday! Boy, that was fast. It only took about 2 weeks to get the coupon after I submitted it.

Ok, I almost missed this because it looks different than the usual JC Penney $10 off coupon but here's another $10 OFF A PURCHASE OF $10 OR MORE! Yay! I'll be picking up 3 more of the bath towels for just pennies again. That will make a full dozen of beautiful JC Penney bath towels for under $10 this year! I'll be cutting up my old raggy towels for rags this weekend. It's surprising how often you need a rag for a really dirty job.

FREE Grapes this week at Cub Foods

Make sure and pick up your FREE pound of grapes at Cub Foods this week. The trick is to weigh the grapes to just a hair over a pound so you only have to pay a few cents. Yum! Did you know that you can FREEZE grapes and that kids love them? Just pull them off of the vine and spread out on a cookie pan, freeze, and then put into a freezer bag. Let the kids have a few at a time on a really hot day for a refreshing and healthy snack!

After a few lousy weeks at Walgreens they have finally offered some great FREE after Register Rewards items this week. If you are a contact lens wearer it's a great week to make several stops into Walgreens to pick up FREE Complete Multi-Purpose Solution! You can also pick up FREE Alive! multivitamins! Yay. I love not paying for my vitamins and have a 9 month supply already so I personally have no need to stock up on this item but you might. FREE vitamins comes around about every 6 weeks or so.

Donate to Your Local School!

HyVee has a wonderful coupon in their ad this week. If you buy 5 PepsiCo products on this page you get the backpack loaded with school supplies for $4.99. That's a good deal if your child, grandchild or you would like to donate to your school for those in need. I know that many children come to school without these items.
