It doesn't look like much but this is MY FAVORITE new tool. It is an infrared thermometer and detects heat loss around your windows and doorways, etc. Just squeeze the yellow trigger mechanism and point and it gives you a readout of the temperature for the area you pointed it at. A quick and easy way to identify the areas around your windows that need more caulking or insulating.
I found this at Lowes for $39.95. There is also a similar tool by Black & Decker on the market for $59.99 but I was not able to find it in any stores.
